#MomAndDaughter

Hi guys! Another year to start fresh! My husband recently came back and we got to celebrate our anniversary again! We had our lunch date at a very cozy area. We are both hungry to taste new food and share our ideas with each other. We both graduated on the same field thus our love for various cooking and we are easy to talk to when it comes to food.
 Peppermint tea
 Tomato soup
 Chicken Shawarma rice
 Cuban Sandwich
Bacon and sausage penne in white sauce
 Insta- worthy place
 Coffee for the gentleman
 baked goodies too!

Bramble Bakehouse is located at 115 P Pelayo St, Poblacion District, Davao City, 8000 Davao del Sur. If you know the area between Illustre and San Pedro one of the oldest streets, you can easily spot this gem with the old fashioned house turned into a commercial area. The compound also consists of Fowlplay and Bondi & Bourke restaurants.

Let me share with you the places I go to when I have time on my break. 😁
Frozen yogurt is a frozen dessert made with yogurt. More tart than ice cream, but lower in fat.
Choose your desired size, after all, this is yogurt! They have pint and half gallon tubs, you can take it home and stock it up.
There are lots of toppings to choose from. From fruit slices to nuts, coffee jelly, butterscotch slices, and chocolate chips.

This is my go-to if I'm craving for sweets or ice cream.
I love their New York Cheesecake slices.
They have a flavor of the day. It changes from time to time. ( matcha, ube, mango and many more)
My usual toppings Kiwi, New York Cheesecake and Almonds
Cheers to healthy snacking! Yoh Froz is located at Davao Autoville Center (beside DavCon), F. Torres Street (near Nonki and Shatter), Davao City. They are open 12noon to 11pm, great time for a healthy pick me up dessert or snack in the afternoon and or after dinner.

Summertime is the time for different activities especially for kids. I enrolled my daughter on the Learn to Swim Program of Philippine Red Cross.

This was a 5- day workshop for beginners, advanced and intermediate swimmers. Adults can enroll too. There are different pool areas to choose from under the Red cross lists of venues. We chose La Piscine bed and breakfast at Obrero, inside Palm village, because it is the most convenient for us.

My daughter always looks forward to her summer activities. I am happy that she gets to enjoy and learn at the same time.

She meets new people, create new friends along the way too. And most likely, she never forgets the experiences and at end of the day she always tells me that she's having fun. A mom's got to do what a mom's got to do to make her child happy.

  Graduation day!

She's not scared to swim on the 5 feet level anymore! Thanks to these young coaches for the patience! We got another milestone, and for sure we will both enjoy swimming from here on.

The learn to Swim Program of Philippine Red Cross is always available during summertime. Great for kids who just finished the school year. Kids also need time to have fun. Registration starts as early as April. We paid 1,000 pesos for the 5 day program. You can go ahead and enroll at the Philippine Red Cross office located beside the Marco Polo Hotel, along C.M Recto street, and Roxas Davao city. Entrance fees and pool fees depends on the are and pool rates, and are excluded on the registration. We only paid 140 pesos everyday so that would be a total of 700 pesos for 5 days for the entrance of my daughter, guardian included.

Hi guys! This is my huling hirit before summer officially ends and my birthday treat! The most loved Siargao Island! ❤
We arrived at Hayanggabon port before sunrise and seen this magical view with our own eyes. Land trip via van from davao to here is around 8 hours.
Hayanggabon port to General Luna takes about 3 to 4 hours via boat.
 Tourist feels lang. 🤣
 We're here! General Luna port.
We settled our things on our homestay and had breakfast here. The food is good, you will need the energy for this trip. The place in which we stayed for 2 days and 1 night has airconditioned rooms with double deck good for 4 persons each and comfort rooms. We can also cook if we want to. It's like a home away from home.😊
First stop is Sugba Lagoon. It takes 45 minutes to 1 hour boat ride.
The jump of my life! You should not miss this spot. After 1 jump you'll want more.
 What a beauty!❤
This is the port going to and from Sugba Lagoon. 50pesos per head on the boat ride which we did not pay because it is already included on our tour package.
 Next stop, Magpupungko rock pools.
We arrived mid day so it was scorching hot and almost high tide.
Just put a lot of sunblock and you'll never have to worry about that tan!
The famous surfing spot Cloud 9. There will be a lot of surfing instructors who are also locals there to teach you for 500 pesos if you want to surf.
 Golden hour and tanned skin.

 Look at those waves!
We had our dinner at Barrel since we woke up late for dinner after all the day tours. Hahaha. Their roast chicken is soooo good! Pro tip: go out with your group of friends so you can order a bunch and just split the bill. That way you can enjoy the food with your friends too! The food is a bit pricey around the island.😉
Night life at Harana surf resort.

We got some shots, beer, and a lot of dancing.
I spy with my little eye, something cold!
This is locally made ice cream from the island itself.
Ube ice cream with some banana chips on top. I loved this because its not too sweet but so creamy I wanted more. Lol 100 pesos per scoop is not bad for this kind of good food!
Leche ice cream company inside Harana surf resort
Souvenir goodies! 3 pcs for 100 pesos.
The next day, we went for island hopping.
Guyam Island. Guyam means small. It has a lot of instagramable spots.
Second stop. Naked island on mid day is the secret to fully tanned skin! 🤣
 Well hello there!
The sun, sand, blue waters and sky are all in one place. 😍
Last stop is Daku island. Daku means big. We had our lunch here. We just bought the fish, rice and shrimps from General luna market and paid for the people to cook it on the island.
Palm trees and some more sunscreens.
This is what we had for lunch. Boodle for everyone!
I never thought I could finally join the trip, it was just a plan with my officemates and I did not expect that a lot of us were going. It was fun since we knew all the people who were coming with us. Our itineraries were already planned out by Travel Hugger where we got our trip package for 3,300 pesos per head. It was a 2 day trip via land. All we have to do is prepare for the long trip, food and ourselves. I was getting giddy while thinking about the trip and still on the high while reminiscing. I wanted to go back. If another time and weather permits. I'd really love to and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city even for a day.
 My golden hour ❤

Follow Travel Hugger on Facebook for more kinds of tour packages. All the entrance fees on our tour was included. They also have pictures of our trip! They are so ready that there's nothing that can stop you to swim and enjoy! Thank you Travel hugger for the safe and smooth trip!
